Welcome to Krivokl´ART,
the experimental project dedicated to promote art life in Krivoklat, Czech Republic.
In a stimulating environment and rural setting of Bohemia only an hour drive away from Prague, we offer Czech and foreign artists the unique opportunity to reflect, create and exhibit their art in a bright spacious atelier.
The building was designed by the famous Czech architect Alois Dryak in the 1920's.
His goal was to give Krivoklat a stately bank institution.
Our intent is to take advantage of the bank's former premises to support the local art and craft activities.
The Atelier space is surrounded by beautiful forest and overlooked by the amazingly preserved medieval local castle in the heart of the Krivoklat village.

Between 2007 and 2013 she lived in Malaysia where she learned a lot about Asian art of which features she mixes with Middle East's style. This can be visible in most of her paintings.
Maimana team carefully selects hand-woven and hand-knotted woolen kilims and carpets, where the crucial part plays high-quality natural material and sophistication. By doing so, Maimana supports the ancient tradition that Afghan weavers have brought to perfection.
